Anna Wintour has probably made the right choice this time, writtin on the january 2009 issue of Vogue Us in big letters " CHANGE " !! actually the small and private bubble of fashion is soon going to explode !! yes yes it's true !! the crisis is really making waves, makin everybody wanna hide and save up money ! i have to say that this situation just frustrate me !! on one side, you have some smart kids really makin their ways like the Rodarte sisters, Gareth Pugh or Acne Lanvin collaboration or Kate Moss line with giant Topshop !! but there are not so many and it seems so so hard to really make the world dream and turn their hands ! where has fashion gone ?......i wonder !! and on the sad fall, we can read in the gossip or at fancy parties around town, is Olivier Theyskens leaving Nina Ricci ? or now that Peter Som left Bill Blass, is it really gonna be the end for that brand ? some other big people are obliged because of financial issues to make smaller catwalk presentations like Vera Wang or the crazy Betsey Johnson ! oh my god.....it's the apocalypse or what !!?
ps : maybe Dominico Dolce was right saying " fashion needs rehab ? " dont u think so !!!?
